ENGAGED MEMBERSHIP | STRONG ADVOCACY | FUTURE-PROOFING THE VFF
Emma has officially nominated to continue her Presidency of the Victorian Farmer’s Federation (VFF) for a second term.
As President, she pledged upon her first election that she would serve the VFF by being a strong, passionate advocate for Victorian Farmers and to strive each day to modernise the organisation.
There's been many great wins, however there’s more work to be done. To be a strong, respected and influential organisation the VFF must keep moving forward with strong leadership.
We have a great opportunity to finish what we started even stronger, and that’s why she's asking for your vote to serve you as President for another term.
Emma's focus as continuing VFF President for the next two years will be:
ENGAGED MEMBERSHIP
FUTURE-PROOFING THE VFF
STRONG ADVOCACY
The question on everyone's lips now is: Where does the State Government’s re-election leave us farmers?
When the government was re-elected, she considered the immediate future of advocacy. We must be in fierce opposition to regressive policies that continue to disadvantage farmers and regional communities. We must be up front and centre of every politician and policy-makers mind when they make decisions. Food security must be the foundation of the governments attitudes and actions. We need a strong VFF for farmers and for our community.
If re-elected, she will continue to be your strong voice that creates change for the better for you, the VFF and the industry.
Emma wants to make sure every farmer’s voice continues to be heard, and with the opportunity of a profitable future farming this great land. She looks forward to your vote and continued support in the coming two years. A
